Yes you are right according to drd the heads are good up to 7k+ rpm and the cam pushes hard 3000 to 7000 depending on head work. I can't wait to open her up. Right now the starter took a shit and i no longer have it under warranty through auto zone. Gotta save up to buy another starter.

It feels smooth due to the 112 LS, I thought the 86B was good to 7K and with the L7s should have excellent mid/upper rpm power.

it feels good and reliable probably because of the low compression. I need to install a tach to get a better feel of where my power band is. I'm not sure how high I can take it either. It might have crazy top end. I only have like 5 miles on it.

Either stock or straight cut will work. Straight cuts are a bit noisy just make sure to get a good quality set like Magnum or you will be sorry.

What size bearings did you need?

Finally my web 86b 112 lobe center cam came along with my lube a lifter scat lifters chromolly push rods and scat 1.4 ratio rockers. Pix coming soon. Took the whole engine to my job and cleaned it in the parts washer so everything is squeeky clean. Now im going to inspect bearings and start assembly. Anyone know what cam gear i should use? Not sure if this cam will work with straight cut or helilical cam gear.
