Dual Carb Troubleshooting

Thanks for the heads up Luft, but i'm broke. 

So use a 100grit?  what about an 80grit?  didn't have time to do sh*t.  my brother came up for a visit.

still waiting on slammed if he's going to mail the SP manifold.  heard he was sick....

Anyways, i'm thinking on putting back my single carb.  i just don't feel the difference on the duals.  with my single, it had a very quick response on the throttle.  on the duals it seems to take awhile and starts kicking in at top end.  what do you guys think?  should i do some re-jetting?  change my DVDA to a 019 dizzy?  or go to a different carb set-up? (progressive or single IDF)

for a SP the icts should work great. The DVDA is your problem. The 019 would work great as would a 010. A SVDA would give you more MPG as well. Once you have the ignition and jetting worked out you will get better power and mpg than you would with a stock carb. You will hate the progressive or single IDF save your money for some dual DRLAs or IDFs instead.

Hey luft...  i know you said use a 100grit for polishing, but HOME DEPOT (the only place I know who sells these in town) didn't carry any 100's.  I bought an 80 & 120.  Will do some polishing over the weekend and post some pics as well....
